In order to fill a need in the import performance aftermarket, IPT Performance Transmissions has developed a line of custom high stall torque converters for the 4EAT transmission, found in naturally aspirated and turbocharged Subaru vehicles.
The extreme duty units feature hardened spline inserts, furnace braised fins, improved design Torrington bearings, induction heat treated hubs, and a high carbon material converter lock up clutch.
Already proven to be one of the best modifications for these vehicles, ET reductions of .5 to over 1 full second are typical compared to the stock torque converter in Subaru WRX vehicles.
